Announcement of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dar es Salaam (Tanzania)

At this critical and significant historical juncture as our beloved Iran takes a major step toward consolidating its stability and authority the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dar es Salaam extends its sincerest greetings to you the esteemed Iranians. The Embassy while paying tribute to the great nation of Iran hereby informs:

Following recent developments and the aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against our beloved homeland which led to the martyrdom of the late Supreme Leader, the Assembly of Experts, in accordance with the principles of the Constitution, has issued an official statement announcing the election of His Eminence Ayatollah Sayed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei as the third Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

As a prominent scientific and political figure with a distinguished record in defending the ideals of the Revolution and the path of the late Leader, His Eminence will henceforth undertake the leadership of Iran. This election, conducted by a decisive vote of the people's representatives, serves as a guarantee for the stability, security, and continued progress of the country.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dar es Salaam, while announcing this auspicious event which marks the beginning of a new chapter of national authority and development, congratulates the great Iranian nation across the globe, particularly Iranians residing in Tanzania, on this worthy selection.

Proud Iranians, Dear Compatriots;

While congratulating to the presence of Imam al-Mahdi (AJ) and the honorable people of Iran on this outstanding and blessed event, we emphasize the renewed loyalty of all branches of the country, the armed forces, and revolutionary institutions to the Supreme Leader. Furthermore, it is affirmed that the path of honor, independence, and national authority will continue under the new leadership with profound vision and wise prudence. We invite all dear Iranians to remain steadfast on this valuable Trajectory and to contribute to the elevation of Iran's brand and status through their continuous endeavors.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dar es Salaam also emphasizes that the country's foreign policy doctrine, based on the principles of "Honor, Wisdom, and Expediency," will continue, remaining steadfast in strengthening relations with neighbors and friend countries specially the United Republic of Tanzania and supporting global peace and mutual international cooperation. In this new era, we are confident that under the guidance of the new leadership, beloved Iran will continue to move toward a bright future filled with justice, progress, and prosperity.
