Press Release Condemning the Joint Military Aggression by the United States and the Zionist Regime

The violent invasion and the aggressive terrorist actions of the declining Zionist regime conducted with the direct participation of the United States regime against the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran—which resulted in the martyrdom of the late Supreme Leader Imam Khamenei and the prominent commanders and many civilian sites—constitute a flagrant violation of Article 2 Paragraph 4 of the United Nations Charter and the fundamental principles of international law. Furthermore the continuation of brutal and terrorist attacks by the Zionist-American aggressor coalition against national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iran—which has intensified in recent days with strikes on vital infrastructure fuel depots and civilian centers—is condemned in the strongest possible terms. It is hereby emphasized that:

• The Legitimate Right to Self-Defense:Under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, Iran maintains its legal and inherent right to respond to aggression and emphasizes that no hostile action against its territory will go unanswered. Accordingly, “Operation True Promise 4” will continue with full force until the aggressors are completely punished and their ongoing crimes are halted. Beyond a mere right, the Islamic Republic of Iran considers it an obligation to react to any foreign aggression. The nation’s Armed Forces, with full readiness and at the appropriate time and place, will deliver a decisive and regrettable response to any aggressor.
• Continuity of Resistance:National confidence and authority signify stability, national cohesion, and the failure of enemies to sow division or weaken the will of the Iranian people. The Armed Forces and the people of the Islamic Republic are determined to defend the country with all their might. Iran considers the preservation of its security and national integrity an unalterable duty and will continue the path of resistance without any retreat.
• Retaliatory Operations: In response to recent atrocities, new phases of “Operation True Promise 4” were successfully executed by the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In these operations, the aggressors' military bases in the region and Zionist regime positions in the occupied territories were targeted by heavy missile and drone strikes. To avenge the attacks on civilian centers, schools, energy reservoirs, and defense facilities, Iran’s Armed Forces have precisely struck military installations in the occupied territories and associated regional bases.
• Warning to Regional Countries: While emphasizing its policy of good neighborliness, the Islamic Republic of Iran once again warns regional governments not to allow their territory or airspace to be used for hostile actions against Iran.
