The President of the United Republic of Tanzania signed the Martyrs Memorial Book while attending the Iranian Embassy.

The President of the United Republic of Tanzania signed the Martyrs Memorial Book while attending the Iranian Embassy.

H.E Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, while attending the Iranian Embassy in Dar es Salaam, expressed her condolences to the government and people of Iran and signed the memorial book for the martyrs of this incident. During a short conversation with H.E Alvandi, ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dar es Salaam, H.E President said: "On behalf of myself, the government and the people of Tanzania, I have expressed my condolences to you and the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran for this great loss, and I hope that the election process and the new government will take office in May Iran pass peacefully."

In this meeting, H.E Mr. January Yusuf Makamba, Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation and other officials of this ministry accompanied the President.
