The council’s responsibilities include approving the overall framework of the guidelines and making decisions regarding various aspects of the award. Members are selected for a specific term.
Terms of participation in the Muallem PrizeThe “Muallem Prize” is designated for teachers all around the world regardless of their religion. All teachers, instructors, and educators working with individuals under 18 are eligible for the Muallem Prize. This includes school teachers, kindergarten instructors, educational center teachers, school or mosque mentors, and all teaching roles across public, private, and community sectors at various levels. Nominees should have at least five years of experience in this role and plan to continue teaching for at least the next three years .Nomination Methods for the Muallem PrizeTeachers can apply for the Muallem Prize by visiting the award’s website. Additionally, the general public—including school colleagues, parents, and students—can nominate impactful teachers they know for the prize. On the award’s website nomination page, there are two options for entering the nomination process:I’m a teacher and I want to apply for the Muallem PrizeTeachers wishing to apply for the “Muallem Prize” must complete their nomination information form. This form is accessible through the “I am a teacher, and I want to apply for the Muallem Prize” link at the bottom of the Muallem Prize call page.I want to nominate a teacher for the Muallem PrizeTo nominate a teacher, individuals should select the “I want to candidate a teacher for the Muallem Prize” option at the bottom of the call page and enter the nominated teacher’s details. Once this form is completed, a message from the secretariat will be sent to the nominated teacher, inviting them to visit the call page and complete their information under the “I am a teacher, and I want to apply for the Muallem Prize” section. If a nominated teacher is selected as a winner, the nominator will be acknowledged for providing the opportunity to honor the teaching profession.
The prize amount will be determined each year based on the funding secured by sponsors and endowments. In the third cycle, the prize amount will remain the same as in the previous cycle, totaling 10 billion IRI Rials.All individuals and entities can participate in the Muallem Prize through various methods.
