Iranian Ambassador to Dar es Salaam Meets Tanzania National Chamber of Commerce President

Iran is determined to strengthen economic cooperation with African countries specially Tanzania which is really the land of opportunities. Said newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Tanzania, H.E. Mohammad Javad Hemmatpanah, following a courtesy visit to the Tanzania National Chamber of Commerce (TNCC).
In his discussions with the TNCC President, Mr. VicentMinja, the two sides explored opportunities to enhance economic diplomacy, trade, and investment, with a particular emphasis on human capital development.
Ambassador Hemmatpanah stated that Iran is ready to collaborate with Tanzania’s private sector through TNCC to equip young people with practical skills that meet labor market demands.
He further noted that the cooperation will extend to the industrial, technology, and trade sectors, with the aim of increasing the contribution of the private sector to the economies of both countries.
On his part, Mr. Minja commended Iran for its commitment to investing in skills development, noting that the establishment of a Technical Training Centre aligns with the Government’s efforts to promote industrialization and job creation.
He emphasized that TNCC is ready to serve as a key link between business communities in Tanzania and Iran.
The visit has been described as the beginning of a new strategic partnership aimed at fostering sustainable economic development through trade, investment, and human resource development.
